In-Depth Review
Native Amazonian Care for the Modern Nomad
Urbano Pet’s Buriti & Cupuaçu shampoo is a standout in the 'hidden gem' grooming category. Formulated in Brazil, this shampoo leverages the hydrating power of Cupuaçu—a relative of the cacao tree. The butter is extracted from seeds that are often left over from juice production, making this a prime example of upcycled skincare for animals. Because it is highly concentrated, a single bottle lasts twice as long as standard shampoos, a critical factor for those with limited storage in off-grid setups.
- Buriti Oil: Natural UV protection for dogs who spend all day outdoors.
- Cupuaçu Butter: Deep hydration for dry, itchy skin.
- Biodegradable: Safe for outdoor washing in van-life scenarios.
Sourced through fair-trade agreements with indigenous communities in the Pará region, every purchase supports the preservation of the rainforest by providing economic alternatives to logging.
"Urbano Pet bridges the gap between traditional Amazonian botany and modern pet care needs."
