In-Depth Review
Ancient Wisdom Meets Modern Air Care
Sourced directly from artisan cooperatives in Sub-Saharan Africa, these Sanyal Vetiver bundles are a radical departure from the pressurized chemical cans of the air freshener aisle. Vetiver grass is known as the 'Oil of Tranquility,' and its roots possess natural anti-bacterial and air-purifying properties that neutralize odors rather than masking them.
"Our vetiver is grown in regenerative polycultures, helping to stabilize soil and provide a stable income for women weavers in rural communities."
The set includes three large decorative bundles for the home and a 'Mini-Braid' that is perfectly sized for a carry-on or backpack. To activate the scent, one simply mists the roots with water. This process releases a grounding, earthy aroma that helps reduce anxiety—a perfect feature for the climate-anxious teenager seeking a calm environment.
This is a high-AOV item due to the artisanal labor involved and the longevity of the product. Unlike a candle that burns out, a vetiver bundle can last for up to two years with proper care. It represents a full-circle ethical purchase: supporting West African labor, utilizing regenerative agriculture, and eliminating microplastic-releasing synthetic scents.
