In-Depth Review
Revolutionizing Pet Nutrition Through Transparency
Open Farm's Freeze-Dried Raw Dog Food Topper represents a significant shift in how we approach pet nutrition and ethical consumption. Unlike conventional pet foods that often mask ingredient sources behind vague terminology, this product is built on a foundation of radical transparency. Every bag features a unique lot code that allows pet owners to trace every single ingredient back to its source, ensuring that the meat, vegetables, and supplements meet rigorous ethical standards.
High-Quality, Humane Sourcing
The primary protein in this topper is sourced from farms that adhere to the highest animal welfare standards. By partnering with Certified Humane, Open Farm ensures that the livestock is raised without the use of growth hormones or unnecessary antibiotics, provided with proper space to move, and managed with care. This commitment extends beyond the farm; the inclusion of wild-caught salmon ensures that the formula is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids while supporting sustainable fishing practices verified by Ocean Wise.
Did you know? Open Farm was the first pet food brand to launch a nationwide recycling program for their packaging, addressing the significant waste issue in the pet food industry.
The nutritional profile of this topper is designed to mimic a dog's ancestral diet. The freeze-drying process is critical here; it preserves the bioavailability of nutrients that are often lost during high-heat kibble processing. This means your pet receives the enzymes, vitamins, and minerals in their most natural state, promoting better digestion, increased energy, and a shinier coat.
| Feature | Benefit |
