In-Depth Review
The Future of Feline Sustainability
Cats are obligate carnivores, but the environmental toll of traditional livestock is immense. Eat Small offers a scientifically backed solution: insect protein. Specifically, this wet food utilizes the Hermetia illucens (Black Soldier Fly), which provides a complete amino acid profile identical to traditional meats but with 90% less water and land usage. Sourced from specialized farms in Central and Eastern Europe, this is the ultimate choice for the environmentally conscious Gen Z pet owner.
- Hypoallergenic: Ideal for cats with chicken or beef allergies
- High Moisture: Supports kidney health and hydration
- Balkan Herbs: Infused with regional parsley and mint for digestion
The texture is a smooth pâté that appeals to even the most finicky eaters. By choosing insect protein, you are actively participating in the circular economy, as the larvae are fed on upcycled vegetable scraps that would otherwise go to waste.
| Environmental Metric | Savings vs Beef |
|---|---|
| Water Usage | 95% Less |
| CO2 Emissions | 98% Less |
| Land Usage | 90% Less |
