In-Depth Review
Artisanal Mediterranean Design
Handcrafted in the tradition of Southern European pottery, this set combines the porous, breathable qualities of high-fired terracotta with the dense, beautiful grain of salvaged olive wood. This isn't just a planter; it's a piece of functional art designed to regulate moisture levels for delicate herbs like basil, thyme, and rosemary.
Innovative Self-Watering System
The terracotta insert acts as a natural wick. By filling the olive wood reservoir, the porous clay absorbs water and slowly releases it into the soil, preventing root rot while ensuring the plant never goes thirsty. This 'compostable single-use alternative' design eliminates the need for plastic nursery pots and synthetic self-watering wicks.
"We believe the tools of the garden should be as beautiful as the harvest they produce."
| Material | Source | Benefit |
|---|---|---|
| Olive Wood | Southern Europe (Pruned/Salvaged) | Naturally water-resistant and antimicrobial |
| Terracotta | Local Iberian Clay | Regulates soil temperature and moisture |
| Finish | Organic Beeswax/Olive Oil | PFAS-free and food-safe |
Every piece is unique due to the natural variance in wood grain. The artisan production supports small-scale craft workshops in Spain and Southern France, ensuring fair wages and the preservation of traditional pottery techniques.
