In-Depth Review
Healthy Sleep for Growing Bodies
For the van-lifer or off-grid dweller raising a family in a compact space, air quality and durability are paramount. The Little Green Sheep Natural Twist Cot Bed Mattress is a masterpiece of natural engineering, eschewing the synthetic foams and fire-retardant chemicals typically found in mass-market mattresses. This 'Twist' model is uniquely functional, offering a firm side recommended for infants (0-12 months) and a more supple, cushioned side for toddlers (1-5 years). This longevity reduces waste and ensures the mattress grows with your child, a vital consideration for those living with limited storage.
The core of the mattress is comprised of four natural ingredients, each selected for its specific properties. Coconut coir acts as a breathable spring system, providing the necessary support for a baby's developing spine. Natural latex, tapped from Hevea trees, provides comfort and pressure relief without the off-gassing associated with memory foam. Encasing these layers is a thick wrap of organic sheep's wool, which acts as a natural temperature regulator and fire retardant, and a luxury herringbone cotton cover.
"Our commitment is to provide the purest sleep environment possible, ensuring that the air your child breathes is free from harmful VOCs and chemicals."
