In-Depth Review
The Sustainable Standard for Outdoor Relaxation
The Polywood Classic Adirondack Chair is more than just a piece of patio furniture; it is a testament to the power of circular manufacturing. Built in the USA, these chairs are constructed from genuine POLYWOOD® lumber, a proprietary material that includes landfill-bound and ocean-bound plastic containers. Unlike traditional wood furniture that requires frequent staining or chemical treatments, this chair is engineered to withstand the most corrosive environments, including high sun exposure, snowy winters, and strong coastal winds.
The design focuses on ergonomic comfort, featuring a contoured seat and a reclined back that supports the lumbar without the need for additional cushions. The material is solid throughout, meaning the color won't fade or scratch off over time. By choosing recycled plastic over teak or cedar, consumers help reduce the demand for virgin timber, even when FSC-certified, allowing forests to remain intact as carbon sinks.
Built for Generations
- Weather-resistant: Will not splinter, crack, chip, peel, or rot.
- Easy maintenance: Cleans easily with soap, water, and a soft-bristle brush.
- UV protection: Infused with UV-inhibitors to prevent fading.
- Stainless steel hardware: Marine-grade quality for rust resistance.
