In-Depth Review
Why New Parents Love This Ethical Lunchbox
Born from a collaboration between Kenyan artisan cooperatives and a B Corp parent company, the EcoVibe Kids Stainless Steel Bento Lunchbox is more than just a container—it’s a statement. Each piece is hand-formed from recycled stainless steel in Nairobi, then finished with a colorful, farm-animal-inspired design printed with non-toxic, lead-free enamel. The three compartments keep snacks, fruit, and sandwiches separate without plastic dividers or silicone seals that degrade.
Safety-First Build for Little Ones
- 100% stainless steel interior and exterior – no plastic lining, no BPA, no phthalates
- Leakproof latch system tested for yogurt and apple sauce (parent-tested, kid-approved)
- OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified – every textile component is free from harmful substances
- Dishwasher safe on the top rack, though hand-washing recommended to preserve art
Ethical Sourcing & Artisan Craft
Each box is assembled at the Kibera Artisan Workshop in Nairobi, where women earn fair wages and receive childcare subsidies—a model that earned EcoVibe its B Corp certification. The recycled stainless steel is sourced from local scrap yards, diverting material from landfills. A portion of each sale supports school meal programs in the same community.
“My toddler refuses to use anything else. I love that it’s zero-plastic and the animals make her laugh.” – Amazon verified parent review
