In-Depth Review
Heritage Engineering from Gipuzkoa
Altuna has been forging tools in the Basque Country of Spain since 1921. These shears represent the pinnacle of European tool-making, designed to last a lifetime rather than end up in a landfill. Unlike modern 'disposable' shears with plastic components, these are fully serviceable with replaceable parts.
High-Carbon Precision
The blades are forged from high-carbon steel, providing a sharpness and edge retention that stainless steel cannot match. This allows for cleaner cuts that promote faster plant healing, reducing the risk of garden diseases.
