In-Depth Review
Designed for Comfort, Crafted for Impact
The Malaika Recycled Glass & Bamboo Elevated Pet Bowls are more than just feeding dishes—they are a testament to mindful craftsmanship and social responsibility. Created in partnership with artisan cooperatives in Sub-Saharan Africa, each bowl is hand-blown from 100% post-consumer recycled glass, making every piece unique in color and pattern. The elevated bamboo stand is FSC-certified and harvested from renewable plantations, ensuring minimal environmental footprint.
Ergonomic Benefits for Sensitive Eaters
For pets with digestive issues, arthritis, or other chronic conditions—common concerns for spoonie pet parents—the raised design promotes better posture, reduces acid reflux, and eases pressure on joints. The two-bowl set (one for food, one for water) is stable enough to prevent tipping, and the glass interiors are non-porous, odor-resistant, and easy to clean. No plastic touches your pet’s food or water.
Ethical & Transparent Supply Chain
Malaika Home is a B Corp certified brand that sources exclusively from African artisan cooperatives, paying living wages above fair-trade minimums. The glass is collected and recycled locally in Kenya, and the bamboo is grown in community-managed forests in East Africa. Each purchase funds educational programs for the artisans' children.
