In-Depth Review
Cleaning the Ocean, One Toy at a Time
Shore Buddies is on a mission to save marine life. This beach set is constructed from 'Ocean Bound Plastic'—material collected within 50 kilometers of shorelines where waste management is insufficient. By intercepting this plastic before it reaches the sea, Shore Buddies prevents the degradation of marine ecosystems. Each set includes a bucket, shovel, and sand molds, all designed with extra thickness for longevity.
Education through Play
The brand focuses on educating children about ocean conservation. Included with the set is a small booklet featuring 'Shore Buddies' characters like Sammy the Seal and Finn the Dolphin, explaining the impact of plastic on their habitats. This adds an emotional and educational layer to the physical play experience.
- Includes bucket, sifter, rake, and 2 sand molds.
- High-impact material resistant to saltwater and sun exposure.
- Bright, fun colors achieved through safe, non-leaching dyes.
- Supporting shoreline cleanup crews in coastal communities.

"We don't just want to make toys; we want to make a movement. Every purchase helps us fund cleanup efforts and educational programs in schools around the world."
The company is transparent about its supply chain, working with local communities to provide fair wages for plastic collection. This creates a double impact: cleaner beaches and economic opportunity for those in marginalized coastal areas.
