In-Depth Review
Modern Design Meets Circular Economy
Ekobo has long been a pioneer in the 'eco-homeware' space, and their children's line is no exception. This training cup set is designed specifically for the transition period of 6-18 months. While many bamboo cups use melamine as a binder (which can be toxic), Ekobo utilizes a proprietary blend of bamboo fiber and PLA (polylactic acid) derived from non-GMO corn stalks. This results in a material that is as durable as traditional plastic but significantly lower in carbon footprint.
The Science of PLA Bioplastics
For parents on leave who are meticulously researching every chemical contact for their infant, Ekobo offers peace of mind. The PLA used in these cups is 100% plant-based and contains zero petroleum. It is heat-resistant up to 70°C, making it safe for warm milks and top-rack dishwasher cycles. The minimalist aesthetic is inspired by Franco-Vietnamese design sensibilities, focusing on clean lines and ergonomic grips for small hands.
| Feature | Material Specification |

Note on Disposal: While durable for years of use, if these cups are eventually discarded, they will break down in industrial composting facilities rather than sitting in landfills for centuries.
