In-Depth Review
The Ultimate Solution to Single-Use Plastic
The Stasher Reusable Silicone Bag represents a paradigm shift in nitrogen-chilled food storage and kitchen organization. Founded with the mission to eliminate the trillions of single-use plastic bags that end up in our oceans and landfills annually, Stasher has engineered a product that doesn't just replace plastic but improves upon it in every functional way. Made from 100% pure platinum silicone, these bags contain no BPAs, BPSs, or phthalates, ensuring that your food remains uncontaminated by leaching chemicals even when heated.
Unmatched Versatility in the Kitchen
Unlike traditional plastic bags, Stasher bags are remarkably heat-resistant. This makes them a multipurpose tool for modern cooking techniques:
- Sous Vide: The airtight Pinch-Loc™ seal ensures no water gets in, making them perfect for precision cooking.
- Oven Safe: They can withstand temperatures up to 425°F (218°C), allowing you to reheat leftovers directly in the bag.
- Microwave & Steaming: Leave the seal partially open to safely steam vegetables in minutes.
- Freezer Storage: The thick silicone prevents freezer burn, keeping your produce fresh for longer.
A Commitment to Lifecycle Ethics
Stasher’s commitment to the planet extends beyond the product itself. As a certified B Corp, the company meets rigorous standards of social and environmental performance. Through their partnership with 1% for the Planet, a portion of every sale goes directly to high-impact non-profits like the Surfrider Foundation and 5Gyres, which work tirelessly to protect our oceans from plastic pollution.
