In-Depth Review
Ending Disposable Culture
The 'UNpaper' towels by Marley's Monsters are a revolutionary solution to one of the most wasteful items in the American kitchen. Americans use approximately 13 billion pounds of paper towels annually. These reusable alternatives are designed to be used exactly like their disposable counterparts—cleaned and reused for years, significantly reducing household waste and deforestation.
Design and Functionality
Made from 100% cotton flannel, these sheets are designed to naturally cling to one another. This allows them to be rolled onto a standard paper towel holder without the need for snaps or fasteners. As the fabric is washed, it actually becomes more absorbent, as the fibers open up and lose their initial factory stiffness.
Marley's Monsters operates out of a zero-waste facility in Eugene, Oregon, where fabric scraps are repurposed into stuffing for pet beds or utility wipes.
Ethical Manufacturing
Unlike mass-produced kitchen textiles, every UNpaper towel is edge-sewn locally in Oregon by workers earning fair wages in a safe, creative environment. The brand is a member of 1% for the Planet, meaning a portion of every sale goes directly to environmental non-profits fighting for climate justice.
