In-Depth Review
The End of Paper Waste
The Rocketbook Core is designed for the modern professional who loves the feel of pen and paper but hates the clutter and environmental toll of traditional notebooks. By utilizing a specialized synthetic polyester blend for its pages, the Rocketbook allows you to write with any Pilot FriXion pen, marker, or highlighter. When you're finished, a simple wipe with a damp microfiber cloth clears the page entirely, making the notebook essentially infinitely reusable. This 'circular' approach to stationery directly addresses the issue of paper consumption in corporate and educational environments.
Seamless Digital Integration
What sets the Rocketbook apart from a simple dry-erase board is its sophisticated app integration. Each page features a unique QR code and a set of seven symbols at the bottom. By marking a symbol, the Rocketbook app automatically routes your scanned handwritten notes to specific cloud services like Google Drive, Dropbox, Slack, or Evernote. This ensures that while the physical page is erased, your intellectual property is preserved and searchable through OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology.
Corporate Responsibility and Longevity
As a certified B Corp, Rocketbook (now part of BIC) has undergone rigorous assessment regarding its social and environmental performance. While the product is made of plastic (polypropylene), its ethical value lies in its longevity. One Rocketbook can replace hundreds of traditional paper notebooks over its lifespan. The company also focuses on reducing packaging waste and ensuring fair labor standards throughout its supply chain.
