In-Depth Review
Design Meets Circularity
The Moderno isn't just a place for your dog to rest; it is a statement piece for the conscious home. Designed in California, this bed addresses the massive waste problem in the textile industry by utilizing felt derived entirely from recycled plastic bottles. The felt is heat-pressed into a sleek, architectural shape that maintains its integrity while providing a cozy, sound-dampening environment for anxious pets.
For the Plant-Based Home
As you transition to a plant-based lifestyle, the products you bring into your home should reflect those values. The Moderno is entirely free of animal-derived glues, leathers, or wools. The cushioning is stuffed with a proprietary vegan poly-fill that mimics the loft of down without the ethical compromises.
| Feature | Benefit |
|---|---|
| GRS Certified Felt | Redirects plastic from landfills |
| Orthopedic Cushion | Supports joint health for aging dogs |
| Removable Cover | Easy maintenance and longevity |
"We believe that pet furniture shouldn't be an eyesore or an environmental burden. The Moderno represents our commitment to the closed-loop economy." - Mau Design Team
- Hand-finished in the USA
- Zero-VOC dyes used in all colorways
- Shipped in plastic-free, recyclable cardboard
The aesthetic is unmistakably modern, fitting seamlessly into a 'Scandi-boho' or minimalist interior. Because the shell is made of compressed felt, it won't trap odors like traditional fabric beds, and the internal cushion features a machine-washable vegan cotton cover.
