In-Depth Review
Whimsical Design, Serious Impact
Who Gives A Crap (WGAC) started with a simple observation: billions of people lack access to a toilet, while the traditional paper industry destroys thousands of trees daily. Their bamboo toilet paper offers a luxury feel without the environmental guilt. Bamboo is a grass, not a wood, meaning it grows rapidly and can be harvested annually without killing the plant.
Why Bamboo Matters
Traditional toilet paper is often sourced from virgin forest pulp. WGAC utilizes FSC-certified bamboo, ensuring that the sourcing does not contribute to deforestation or habitat loss. The production process is chlorine-free, avoiding the release of harmful dioxins into local waterways.
"We donate 50% of our profits to help build toilets and improve sanitation in the developing world."
